“The wide range of extra-curricular activities, including visits, enriches the curriculum and these activities are very popular. Students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is exceptionally well promoted and pervades the life of the academy.”
Ofsted, 2015

We believe that educational trips are extremely important to stimulating and exciting students to learn.

At Stoke By Nayland Campus there is an excellent program of well planned, relevant and interesting school trips to enhance the curriculum across all the subject areas.

We aim for each Year group to have a trip each term, typical visits include field trips to rivers, cliffs and other places of geological interest, trips to museums, nature reserves and other places of historic, scientific or natural interest.

We also arrange reward trips particularly where specific goals have been reached, for example the House with the most points at the end of the year, or at strategic points in a cohort’s school life such as key stage transitions or exam completion.
